I have worked as a kindergarten teacher for five years in London, UK and Finland. I hold a BA in Early Years Education and feel like my studies have given me a lot of tools to work as a teacher and manager. My years abroad, being surrounded by different cultures and languages, has expanded my world view and given me tons of inspiration for working with children from all over the world. My passion is to spark the children's imagination and curiosity for the world around them - whether it be through stories or by exploring the outdoors with all of our senses. My goal is to help children reach their full potential and for them to leave for school with a backpack full of 'I can do anything' attitude! As a manager of Herttoniemi, I want to make sure our atmosphere stays warm and welcoming and that all the families feel like they are a part of our community. In my spare time I enjoy working with my hands whether it be sewing, crafting or knitting. Sports and being outdoors is also a big part of my life!
